Thank you for listening to this latest incarnation of "Voices from the Noise."

I have been presenting VFN around the country for nearly three decades. This recorded version incorporates the core stories from the stage and workshop versions, presenting them in an intimate experience as if it were just a few of us sitting together.

As my understanding of scripture, spirituality and storytelling changes and grows, so do the words and experience of VFN change. Stripped of the shellac of bible-school niceness and "don't say that in church" editing, the characters in VFN speak plainly in a vernacular and mature style. Like all storytelling, the words and the manner of these characters change each time I speak them. I hope, too, that in each listening of this CD you hear something new.
